CONTRACT OF SALE                    

1. Buyer accepts the responsibility of caring for the kitten/cat for its lifetime.
2. Buyer agrees to keep the kitten/cat indoors in a clean and pleasant environment, un-caged and with proper nutrition, health care and companionship.
3. Buyer agrees that kitten/cat will not be outdoors unsupervised.  Enclosed outdoor environments or leash-walks are encouraged.
4. Buyer agrees to show love and to accept love of this kitten/cat.
5. Buyer understands that de-clawing is a mutilation and cruel and agrees that this kitten/cat was sold with the understanding that it would not be de-clawed.
6. Buyer agrees that kitten/cat purchased as a pet, must be spayed/neutered at 5 to 7 months of age.

The kitten/cat will be sold as a breeder only to reputable breeders and at a higher price.  All necessary documents will be provided at time of purchase.

7. Buyer agrees that a certificate of such alteration of spaying/neutering from a licensed veterinarian will be sent to the Seller within one week of that time at which the Seller agrees to give Buyer the registration paper so he/she can register the kitten/cat.
8. Buyer agrees that under no circumstances will the kitten/cat ever be sold, leased, or given to any pet shop, animal shelter, research laboratory, or similar facility. 
9. Buyer agrees that transfer of possession, or care of the kitten/cat to another party may only be done with consultation with the Seller.
10. Buyer agrees to follow Breeder/Seller's instructions on care, feeding and maintenance of kitten/cat.
11. Buyer agrees that if circumstances/conditions cause buyer to no longer be able to care for kitten/cat for reasons of health, housing, relocation, or other circumstances; Buyer will render possession and care of the kitten/cat back to the Breeder without obligation to refund the purchase price and/or shipping.
12. If registration of this kitten/cat has already been transferred to the Buyer, Buyer further agrees to transfer registration back to Seller/breeder at the time of such surrender.
13. Buyer agrees that upon taking possession of kitten/cat, they will for a period of two weeks, keep kitten/cat isolated or otherwise protected from any other animals to minimize any potential contact of contagious diseases.
14. Buyer agrees that Seller reserves the right to use any emails and/or photos of kitten/cat sent to seller, in advertising, posted on web site, to promote and display the beauty and qualities of the feline.  Buyer agrees to allow seller the right to use such emails and/or photos as examples advertising cats placed in homes.
    
    Health Guarantee:

1.  Seller/Breeder warrants the kitten/cat is of sound health upon purchase.
   The kitten will be de-wormed, inoculated and vet-checked.
   Breeder will refund the purchase price and accept the kitten/cat back if:
   A: within the two week period, the kitten/cat is found to be medically deficient with an un-treatable or life-threatening problem.  A veterinarian must certify in writing that the kitten/cat is ill or deformed in such a way as to make it unsuitable for the purposes of which it was purchased.

(or)
B: An allergy family/individual tests negative for allergies via fur sample and/or visitation with the kitten/cat, but then develops allergies within 14 days of purchase.

2.  Seller/breeder warrants that to the best of seller’s knowledge, this kitten/cat is free of congenital defects; and this warranty covers a period of two years.
   If the kitten/cat dies within the guarantee period despite medical treatment, compensation will be made only if a licensed veterinarian certifies the cause of death as congenital as described below.
   Should the kitten/cat die within that time as a direct result of congenital defect, the cat will be replaced only if an appropriate necropsy is performed or a veterinarian's certificate is provided as proof of cause of death.  A replacement will be made of a kitten/cat of comparable quality and value, as available; or a monetary refund of purchase price less non-refundable deposit will be made by Breeder.
3. Seller/Breeder agrees to respond as promptly as possible to questions or concerns of Buyer.
