Ablaze Sunbeam Siberians

Intelligent, hypo-allergenic, affectionate

Siberians

The Siberian cat was introduced to the United States in the beginning of the 1990’s, although they were known in Russia hundreds of years ago.  Their larger, denser bone structure gives them the reputation of being considered amongst the largest domestic felines.  Their coat is usually semi-long, and comes in many patterns and colors.

They are also considered to be hypoallergenic because the dander produced by these felines is less than the dander produced by most other domestic cats.  Consequently, testimonials strongly report that many people with cat allergies can tolerate the Siberian cat very well, with little or no allergic reactions.

Siberians are a playful active breed.  They are very affectionate, devoted, loyal and loving companions to their people.  They are quite intelligent and are easy to train with their gentle and good-natured ‘dog-like’ personalities.  They are dependent on human interaction and tend to bond closer than other breeds. Siberians are  powerful cats that non-the-less enjoy being handled and cuddled.  Although usually fairly quiet, their meows speak their feelings and needs; their purrs are throaty.   They also speak in other ways – with chirps, squeaks and body language. They love to greet their favorite humans with a ‘head-butt’ hello.

They mature in 4 to 5 years with most of their size attained around 3 years of age.

Siberian cats are rapidly becoming the pet of choice by many individuals and families.
